Costa Mesa accounts for 2/3 of all DUI arrests in Orange County. They are hyper vigilant about DUI arrests. A recent press release regarding their April 4th DUI checkpoint announced an April 28th DUI checkpoint. (The due process clause of the US and CA constitutions, and the Ingersoll decision, require notification to the public ahead of time for DUI checkpoints).
