Orange County DUI Roving Patrols: Villa Park and Stanton

Our Orange County DUI Lawyers have learned that the Orange County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting DUI roving patrols on Friday, July 29, 2011. These Multi-City DUI teams will target areas that have a high incidence of DUI-related arrests and collisions, and this time it will be in the Cities of Villa Park and Stanton.  Roving Patrols check for persons that appear to be driving under the influence, and then test further.  As always, if you have a DUI, please call me for questions at (888) 292-8888.

Our Orange County DUI lawyers have learned that from 12:01 AM Friday July 1, 2011 through Midnight Saturday July 2, 2011 officers representing 38 county law enforcement agencies have arrested 83 individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol  or drugs.  In 2010 47 DUI arrests occurred during the same 48 hour time period. There were no DUI related deaths reported so far in Orange County during this 4-day campaign period.

Be careful this weekend — our Orange County DUI Lawyers have learned of a DUI checkpoint in Irvine, conducted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department from 7:00 p.m., to 3:00 a.m., on Culver Drive.

Also, from Friday, July 1 through July 4, 2011, extra DUI roving patrols will be assigned within the cities of Brea, Buena Park, , Garden Grove, Irvine, La Habra, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Orange, Placentia, Santa Ana, Yorba Linda and the Police Department of the California State University at Fullerton.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department will deploy roving DUI patrols in their contract cities, and this weekend is a California Highway Patrol Maximum Enforcement Period: CHP will assign all available officers to the region’s freeways, state highways and unincorporated roads beginning 6:00 p.m. Friday through midnight Monday.

Our Orange County DUI Lawyers have learned of a DUI checkpoint in Brea, conducted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department from 7:00 p.m., to 3:00 a.m., at a yet undisclosed location.

Also, from Friday, July 1 through July 4, 2011, extra DUI roving patrols will be assigned within the cities of Brea, Buena Park, , Garden Grove, Irvine, La Habra, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Orange, Placentia, Santa Ana, Yorba Linda and the Police Department of the California State University at Fullerton.

The Avoid the 26-Orange County DUI Campaign will be deploying officers this holiday weekend at DUI/Drivers License Checkpoints and DUI Saturation Patrols countywide to arrest drunk drivers.

The enforcement campaign begins Friday night with DUI/Drivers License checkpoints in the city of Anaheim, Buena Park and La Habra with special DUI Saturation Patrols deploying in the cities of Anaheim and La Habra.  The city of Seal Beach will host a DUI/Drivers License checkpoint in their city on Sunday night.  More local DUI Saturation Patrols will be out on Saturday and Sunday nights on the cities of Newport Beach, Brea, Buena Park, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Los Alamitos, Placentia, Santa Ana and the University of California, Irvine.  The California Highway Patrol is deploying all available officers Memorial Day weekend onto freeways and county roads in their jurisdiction.

Funding for the Avoid Campaign is through a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.  The Avoid Campaign will deploy checkpoints and DUI patrols again during the Independence Day Holiday and for the August/Labor DUI Mobilization. Orange County DUI Roving Patrols: Villa Park and Stanton

Our Newport Beach DUI Lawyers want to make sure you’re aware of where the DUI checkpoints are this weekend in Orange County.

From 7 tonight to 3 a.m. Saturday, a DUI/DL checkpoint will be up somewhere in Laguna Niguel.

During those same hours, DUI saturation patrols are scheduled in some of the bars and restaurants in La Habra.

The campaign has scheduled “DUI Taskforce Operations” from 2-3 a.m. Saturday in Buena Park, La Habra and Placentia, and saturation patrols during the same hours in Anaheim.

Finally, La Habra holds a DUI/DL Checkpoint from 7 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday.  Our Orange County DUI lawyers want you to be safe this weekend, people.

Our Orange County DUI Lawyers have received a request from the OC Sheriff’s Department to help spread the word about their Memorial Day Weekend Schedule of Operations, including both DUI checkpoints and Roving Patrols.

DUI Checkpoints:

FRIDAY, May 28:

La Habra Police Department

In addition, the Huntington Beach PD is conducting their own DUI Checkpoint, at Pacific Coast Highway at Huntington Street, City of Huntington Beach on  May 29, 2010, starting at 9pm.

Saturation Patrols:

FRIDAY – MONDAY, May 28-31:  The Orange County Sheriff’s Department will conduct DUI Roving Patrols in their south contract cities.

DUI Roving Patrols will also be conducted by police in the following cities:
